Honeywell (NYSE:HON) today announced it is hosting its annual users group for a record over 150 customers from the Middle East. The annual conference, held from March 14-15 in Manama, Bahrain is now in its third year and is fast gaining in popularity, with attendance numbers rising every year.
The conference sessions will address topical issues such as industrial security, holistic safety and wireless technology, in order to determine new ways to improve performance in these key areas.
A highlight of this year’s event will be the first demonstration in the Middle East of the Experion™ PKS R300, which was launched last year. Honeywell’s Process Knowledge System (PKS) is a unified system for process, business and asset management that helps industrial manufacturers increase their profitability and productivity.
This year’s agenda includes customer presentations from Qatar Gas and Saudi Aramco, and a presentation on technology advances in automation from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. It also features Honeywell technology breakout sessions, and an extensive, demonstration and exhibit area, set in a bright, informal atmosphere that encourages networking opportunities.
Numerous Honeywell customers from a variety of industries are scheduled to attend the event, including Adnoc, Gulf Petrochemicals Industries Company, Qatar Petroleum, SABIC, Saudi Aramco, Equate, Qatar Petrochemical, Qatar Gas and Khafji Joint Operations.
