Maha Vajiralongkorn Crowned as Thailand's New King

Thailand's King Maha Vajiralongkorn and his family have greeted thousands of their subjects from a balcony of his Grand Palace. As the country is marking the third and final day of coronation ceremonies.

Thousands of people have stood around Bangkok's Grand Palace in order to get a glimpse of King Vajiralongkorn and his new bride, Queen Suthida. 

Moreover, Thailand's new king 3-day celebration ceremony has cost $31 million, as it comes almost 69 years to the day since the last coronation.
