Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh left Sana'a on Tuesday to Beijing in an official visit to the People's Republic of China in response to an invitation presented to him from Chinese President Hu Jintao.
During the visit President Saleh would hold discussions with his Chinese counterpart. The discussions aim to enhance and develop the existing cooperation relations in the economic, investment and trade fields to serve the common interests of the two countries.
According to SABA, the two leaders will also discuss the latest developments in the Middle East region and current international developments of common concern. It is expecting that 19 projects and bilateral cooperation programs agreements would be signed during the visit.
