Philippine Ambassador to the UAE Amable Aguiluz III paid a courtesy visit to Khalfan Ali Al Naheri, Assistant Undersecretary for Arts and Culture at the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation in order to review cultural exchange between the United Arab Emirates and the Philippines.
"We are endeavoring to enhance the Philippines" participation in the field of cultural exchange with the host country. Aguiluz expressed the desire to send a cultural troupe to the United Arab Emirates in the context of the Filipino film festival. This proposal was warmly welcomed by Al Naheri, who said that the foundation fully supported the showing of Filipino films as the cinema reflects the culture of the people, according to Khaleej Times.
