The UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan sent a cable of congratulations to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, on the occasion of the March 8th Revolution. Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum also sent a similar congratulatory cable to the Syrian President, according to WAM.
