The UAE Committee for Support of Palestinian Children is due to screen a film next Thursday at the Dubai Press Club in the framework of its activities to support the Palestinian people. The body was established during the last meeting of the UAE Journalists' Association.
The film, named “Exile Dreams”, directed by Palestinian Director Mai Al Masri, narrates the tragedy and misery of the Palestinians under the Israeli occupation.
The story speaks about a friendship unfolded through letters between two Palestinian girls, one lives at the Sabra and Shatella camp in Lebanon and the other at the Al Daheesha camp in Bethlehem, according to Emirates News Agency.
The two girl friends, according to the film, met only once near razed wires under the eyes of the occupation forces.
The films ends with the eruption of the Intifada or uprising and one of the girl’s trip to the U.S. capital of Washington to deliver a speech at the White House. (Albawaba.com)
