The Iraqi President’s envoy to Morocco’s King Mohammed VI arrived in Rabat on Tuesday.

In a press statement issued following his arrival, Tareq Aziz, the Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister said that he would convey a letter from Iraqi President Saddam Hussein to the Moroccan Monarch, Iraqi News Agency (INA) reported on Wednesday.

The letter, according to the News Agency, deals with current matters including the issue of Palestine, means of supporting the uprising or Intifada as well as confronting the “aggressive American and British threats” against Iraq, INA said.

Aziz had been received at the Sala International Airport by a number of senior officials from the Moroccan Foreign Ministry as well as Iraq’s ambassador in Rabat. (Albawaba.com)
