Syria’s Deputy Education Minister, Mohammed Yassmineh and Director of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Cultural Affairs Varol Ozkotshak signed on Tuesday an executive program of a cultural agreement between Turkey and Syria for the years 2002and 2004.
In line with the program, Damascus and Ankara will support the exchange of expertise between them in the areas of education, sciences, culture, arts, information, youth and sports, which would contribute to a better understanding between the countries with regards to history, culture and tradition, the Syrian Arab News Agency SANA reported.
