Sudan’s President Omar Hassan Al Bashir received in Khartoum Tuesday Dr. Mohammed Khalfan bin Kharbash, UAE Minister of State for Financial and Industrial Affairs.
Al Bashir gave Kharbash the Order of the Two Niles medal, hailing the ongoing efforts exerted by UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in supporting Sudan in various areas, especially in the economic field.
In addition, he praised the UAE delegation and said he considered the UAE as his second country, because he worked there before he had become a President, according to Emirates News Agency.
On his part, Kharbash thanked Al Bashir for the medal and emphasized the importance of further boosting ties between the two countries. (Albawaba.com)
