Roads Renamed in Dubai

Two roads in Dubai have been renamed according to a local order by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and Industry, and Chairman of the Dubai Municipality. 

 

According to Gulf News, the five-kilometer road that separates Al Mizhar 1 and Al Mizhar 2 and stretches from Al Khawaneej Street passing by Tunis Street to the borders of Sharjah, is named Khartoum Road.  

 

In addition, the four-kilometer road that separates Al Warqa 3 and Al Warqa 4, and stretches from Al Awir Road to Tripoli Road, is named Nouakchott Road. (Albawaba.com)
