Over 60,000 people have taken part in a contest, which is conducted by the Car Parking Section of the Roads Department at Dubai Municipality in the framework of the DSF2002 activities.
The contest's main objective is to educate motorists on how to use the parking ticket dispensing machines and on the importance of adhering to the paid parking system.
Khaleej Times reported that according to Abdul Majid Al Khaja, Head of the Car Parking Section, the contest has thus far produced six winners in draws being held every Thursday throughout DSF2002.
The draws are broadcast live during a special program on Dubai Television. (Albawaba.com)
