According to the Palestine satellite radio channel, Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat received Monday a phone call from Egyptian foreign minister Ahmad Maher during which they reviewed the Israeli aggression on the Palestinians and the Arab efforts exerted to end it.
Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported that the radio said Arafat briefed Maher regarding the recent Israeli military developments, continuing in a savage way since last Friday.
It added that Arafat asked Maher to work on putting an end to the Israeli military escalation, which aims at eradicating the Palestinians and destroying its properties, KUNA concluded. (Albawaba.com)
