Iraq’s President Saddam Hussein has received a congratulatory cable from Jordan’s King Abdullah II on the advent of Ramadan, the Iraqi news agency reported Thursday.
The King wished the Iraqi leader good health and the Iraqi people further progress and prosperity, INA said.
Earlier, the King sent a cable of congratulations to President Hussein on the occasion of the latter's winning a new term as president on Referendum Day, the agency concluded. (Albawaba.com)
