ALBAWABA - Online reports recently flooded social media, claiming that the most anticipated racing game of 2026, Forza Horizon 6, was leaked and cracked nearly 10 days before its official release date.
The issue at hand reportedly occurred after a developer failed to encrypt the game's files and uploaded them to the Steam server. In response, leakers and pirates had a field day, sharing 155 GB of content by torrenting Forza Horizon 6 in its entirety across the internet.
Players who purchased the game's "Premium Edition" legitimately are the main victims here, since they were supposed to experience the game early on May 15 by paying a "premium" price. However, the leak has allowed many fans to play the game way earlier and for free through illegitimate torrent sites.

The leak sparked mixed reactions on social media, with fans either celebrating it because they get to play the game early or slamming whoever uploads it early, saying it will affect the game's popularity.
A social media user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "im still gonna buy it for multiplayer with mates, but people throwing tantrums over piracy in the big 2026 is crazy work."
Another added, "it's insane to me that a company like MICROSOFT would upload unencrypted files publicly, it's not like Zelda leaking from a ROM off a cartridge in a warehouse, this is on purpose. this is a whole new level of incompetence, lol"
One more wrote, "Forza Horizon has been one of the best-selling games on Steam for several days now. This won't change that. Your post will just encourage more people to download it illegally. That's all."
