The Algerian parliament approved Monday by absolute majority a bill recognizing the Berbers' language as a national language.
The parliament, during a session held Monday, with the participation of its two chambers, decided to recognize the Tamazight language, spoken by the Berbers, in addition to Arabic, the national and official language of Algeria, KUNA said. (Albawaba.com)
