ALBAWABA - Tiffany Haddish targeted Trump during her Jimmy Kimmel Live guest-hosting debut.

Donald Trump's World Cup phone call has earned him a late-night roast. Tiffany Haddish made her guest hosting debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to deliver biting jokes about the president's controversial FIFA involvement, among other topics.

Tiffany Haddish chastised President Donald Trump for interfering in the World Cup during a guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday. According to the Independent, the comic began her week-long presenting role by criticizing the president's controversial call to FIFA. Haddish takes over for Kimmel during his traditional two-month summer sabbatical from the late-night show.

Trump had contacted FIFA President Gianni Infantino to express his displeasure with US star Folarin Balogun's red card during the Bosnia-Herzegovina match. FIFA then announced that Balogun's red card had been suspended, allowing him to compete in the knockout round against Belgium. On Monday, Trump told reporters in the Oval Office that he "asked for a review by FIFA" but had "nothing to do with the decision."

Haddish addressed the matter squarely on Monday's program. "One of our star players was supposed to be suspended from tonight's game, but President Donald personally called the head of FIFA to get the player reinstated," she claimed. She then said, "Which is surprising, because Trump doesn't know anything about soccer, and it's the first time he's ever defended a Black person!"

President's intervention proved ineffective, as the United States Men's Soccer team lost 4-1 against Belgium on Monday. He also stated on Truth Social, "Thank you to FIFA for doing what was right and reversing a great injustice." The world continues to mock the president for his participation in the competition.

Haddish also hit Trump's Great American State Fair, which had low attendance due to excessive heat and cancelled concerts. "Trump said the event was going to be, and I quote, 'packed to the brim'," she replied. She then remarked, "There were more people at my bat mitzvah." Beginning July 13, actor Anthony Anderson will take over guest hosting duties.
