A head on collision caused by stray camels has claimed the life of seven Saudis after their cars collided Sunday.
One of the drivers, attempting to avoid a pack of stray camels crossing the road, swerved into oncoming traffics. The accident happened in Laith, a western town in Saudi as reported by Emirates 24/7.
Attempting to maneuver around the camels, the driver and two friends entered the oncoming lane and smashed into another car carrying a Saudi family, including a young daughter.
“The seven passengers in the two cars were killed in the crash. Another car in the area overturned, resulting in the injury of its three passengers,” Sabq daily stated.
