Tabreed recorded a net profit of 8.1 million Emirati dirhams ($2.2 million) in 2002, representing a three-fold increase from the previous year. At the year’s end, Tabreed shareholder's equity stood at Dh 519.8 million and total assets touched Dh 1.1 billion.
Tabreed is the only company in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) offering district cooling services as a utility and currently has approximately 100,000 refrigerating tons under contract.
