Bank of Alexandria selects Raya Integration to develop network connectivity

The Bank of Alexandria has selected Cairo-based Raya Integration, a subsidiary of Raya Holding to design and deploy LAN and WAN networks to enable the bank's complete automation. 

 

The 5.5 million Egyptian pound ($892,857) contract will establish of a new system for enhancing customer service and enabling a set of value-added services to the bank’s customer base.  

 

According to the contract, Raya Telecom will provide a virtual private network interconnecting 50 branches through dedicated lines, in addition to linking 153 branches through dial-up connectivity, through Raya Telecom's data network infrastructure which covers the whole nation and enables special advanced features.  

 

Raya Integration for information systems is the largest Raya Holding subsidiary. The company specializes in several lines of business including services, finance, banking, industry, petroleum and communications. — (menareport.com)
