The world is going through a difficult time and the demand on the Saudi Aramco company is "mammoth," stated President and CEO Abdallah Jum'ah. Saudi Aramco's operational responsibility is critical to the Kingdom and the world economy, he added.

"Saudi Aramco is the world's single most important energy provider and while that role is a source of great pride, it is also a huge responsibility,” Jum'ah said Sunday during his weekly conference call with the company’s key operational position holders.

Jum'ah also reported the outcome of the latest Executive Committee (Excom) meeting, held February 26. He said Excom had approved key projects to nurture and maintain the company's capabilities. He also urged employees to continue to contain costs and enhance efficiency through fresh and innovative ideas.

The president said Excom had reviewed and discussed the year-end accountability report for Saudi Aramco. Contracts have been awarded for the Qatif and Abu Sa'fah field development project, with a total capacity of 800,000 barrels per day—one of the largest and most ambitious projects in the industry. — (menareport.com)
