Jordan's King Abdullah, Thursday, met with newly-elected Iraqi President Barham Saleh in Basman Palace in Amman. Both leaders agreed to increase bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
Jordan and Iraq stressed the need for going forward in the implementation of joint economic projects, particularly the Basra-Aqaba oil pipeline, rehabilitation of the Amman-Bagdad Highway and establishing a joint industrial zone on the Jordanian-Iraqi border.
