The thrilling clash at Dallas Stadium in the USA ended with England securing a 4-2 victory over Croatia in the top match of Group L at the 2026 World Cup.

The English team, under manager Thomas Tuchel, fully deserved this win after a great performance against Croatia, who also played a strong game and were no easy opponents.

Match Highlights and Goals

The first half was balanced on all levels and ended in a 2-2 draw. Harry Kane opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a successful penalty kick, but Croatia came back to equalize in the 36th minute through Martin Baturina.

The excitement continued in the first half as Harry Kane gave England the lead again with a header from a corner in the 42nd minute. However, Croatia quickly responded and equalized just before halftime through Petar Musa.

At the start of the second half, England attacked from the very first minute. They took the lead when Jude Bellingham drove into the box and put the ball past goalkeeper Livakovic. The Three Lions then sealed the win with a fourth goal from substitute Marcus Rashford, earning their first three points in the tournament.
