Iraqi Sufis Celebrate Prophet's Birthday With Unique Rituals

Iraqi Sufi Muslim Kurds have held a special ceremony in order to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Mohammed in Akra town in Baghdad on Novermber 19, 2018.

Men usually wear loose pants, matching jackets, and wrap-around belts stand in lines for religious invocations. Then they play drums and shake thier long, black hair back and and forth.
