Dubai Prince's Engagement a Hoax! What royal hotties still on the MidEast market?

Be still our beating hearts! The recent report of the Dubai Crown Prince's engagement to a commoner (a “street girl”, no less!) turns out to be a hoax!

The original story, scooped by World News Daily Report, asserted that Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, the handsome heir apparent to the Emirate of Dubai, was getting hitched to a Palestinian former street girl whom he met whilst at a charity event in a Dubai slum. A fairy-tale movie script if we ever heard one!

The Prince is uber- active on Twitter, but Tweets were non-existent on his betrothal. (Check out any of the dozens of video tributes posted by his YouTube fans over the years - many commenters spiralling into depression thinking that gorgeous Hamdan was “off the market"!).

It’s now emerged that the story - which went viral online via Arab news and social media - is a Disneylike fantasy fabricated by an anonymous writer. Readers apparently missed a disclaimer featured on the original posting that declared that the "satire web publication" offers "presumably fake news." (Live and learn, and ALWAYS read the fine print!)

So this particular Prince Charming remains on the shelf, which got us curious - who else is available amongst the Middle East’s royal bloodlines? Our sampling is tantalizingly tiny when compared to the large young broods in our royal clans. *

*Disclaimer - The jury is still out on their eligible bachelerhood status but perhaps worth investigating further, all the single ladies and gents!

Fiercely protected from prying paparazzi and shielded from public scrutiny (particularly the young princesses), these are truly some of the world’s Most Beautiful (and privileged!) People. Think you have the right stuff to catch one?
