ALBAWABA - A video ignited a big debate on social media after a sniper was spotted on top of the building during the funeral of slain supreme leader Ali Khamenei.
Khamenei was killed on the first day of the war between the United States and Israel on one side and Iran on the other side, February 28. His funeral will be held across the country from July 4 and will continue until July 9.
Tens of thousands took to the streets to join the mourning of the late supreme leader, who was killed in a joint strike by the U.S. and Israel along with other family members: his daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and 14-month-old granddaughter.

A clip showing a sniper on top of a building in Iran sparked huge controversy, considering that talks with the U.S. on a peace deal have not reached a final phase yet.
Taking into consideration that key ranking Iranian officials and military commanders are attending the funeral of the late supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, including his three sons, Mostafa Khamenei, Masoud Khamenei, and Meysam Khamenei.
However, according to Iranian accounts, the snipers were scattered throughout the country to protect the people who are attending the funeral of Ali Khamenei.
