Stemming from its successful participation in the  Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX) of 2004, XPress Telecommunications renewed its presence in 2006 SOFEX event.  This year, the event was held at the King Abdullah Airbase located in Marka, between March 27th and March 30th 2006.

Through its participation in SOFEX 2006, XPress Telecommunications showcased the different services it provides for its subscribers in Jordan. XPress held live presentations and demonstrations to shed light on the array of services it provides specifically for the benefit of the military and the corporate sectors, such as live demonstrations of its Global Positioning System (XGPS) and the International Push-to-Talk (iPTT) services.

"We believe in being proactive and in showing a notable presence for ourselves in the various large scale industrial and social events hosted in the kingdom. Our second participation in SOFEX comes as a means for us to showcase our services' offerings to a wide viewing audience, and to introduce the masses to what XPress has to offer to the individual, the corporate and the military sectors, and we at XPress always aim to respond to the demands of our market." Said Ashraf Samawi, XPress Chief Marketing Officer.

XPress's booth this year hosted a large number of visitors all of whom showed a great interest in XPress’s services it provides for its subscribers. Visiting guests asked questions to the company's representatives and communication specialists attending the event. A special interest was taken by SOFEX's visitors in XPress's XGPS feature, a pioneering service in the region.

Being the only special operations & homeland security exhibition and conference held in the Middle East & North Africa, SOFEX, which takes place once every two years, often hosts a large number of participating firms, and this year is no exception, as it received 250 entities representing 40 different countries.
