UAE Red Crescent Society Sends Aid to Somalia

A UAE ship carrying aid materials worth an amount of one million Dirhams arrived in the Somali Capital to help ease the sufferings of needy people there, according to Emirates News Agency. 

 

The relief materials were dispatched by the UAE Red Crescent Society in accordance with the directives of UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the follow up of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and RCS President.  

 

The supplies included such products as clothes, dates, medical equipment, wheat, sugar, oil and rice. (Albawaba.com)
