The best and the brightest. The cream of the crop. Sahara Centre brings together four outstanding students from different private and public schools to form its first group of Goodwill Ambassadors.
Aqsa Khan from Wesgreen International School, Noor Imad from Al Ahlia Charity School, Noor Jarrah and Nada Al Kashif both from Sharjah American International School, emerged as the top students from among a hundred students who applied to become the leading shopping and entertainment centre’s official youth representatives. The selection committee chose the students on the bases of their scholastic records, academic achievements and proven contribution to their communities.
“We are delighted to present our first group of Goodwill Ambassadors, students who possess great scholastic achievements, outstanding leadership skill, and a deep passion for serving the society they live in. We are proud to have them become a part of our family, and are excited to work with them in establishing links with our community,” said Dean John, General Manager, Sahara Centre.
The winning ‘Goodwill Ambassadors’ will be exposed to the community through various events and shows, as well as other community welfare activities. “We chose the ‘Goodwill Ambassadors’ not only on the basis of their outstanding academic record, but also based on their willingness and desire to help others,” added Dean. “In fact, our ‘Goodwill Ambassadors’ have been involved in many other community projects through their schools’ initiatives.”
