ALBAWABA - After liberating Horgivka in the Donetsk Republic, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov said in a recent communication that his country's forces are moving boldly towards Kurakhove. He underlined that the Ukrainian troops had suffered heavy casualties as a consequence of these advances.

Belousov said, "You are moving toward Kurakhove with confidence today. The armed Ukrainian units are suffering huge casualties as a result of your exceptional professionalism, and they are now fleeing towards the west. We are getting closer to victory because the troops in your ranks are valiantly carrying out their military responsibilities and doing all tasks that have been given to them."

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, personnel participating in the special military operation have been fighting "neo-Nazi" groups nonstop since the operation began, gradually regaining ground in Donetsk.

Belousov commended Russian forces for their courage and valor in liberating Horgivka. The commander and members of the Fifth Independent Mechanized Infantry Brigade—named after the first president of the Donetsk People's Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko—were especially acknowledged by him. It has been stated that since the military action began, this brigade has shown extraordinary bravery in engagements in Mariupol and Marinka.
