It has been reported that Oman has awarded an $18 million contract to the Danish firm Maersk to look for crude oil and natural gas in the west of the sultanate, Mbendi news service reported Thursday.
Maersk, who have been granted a four-year renewable contract, will reportedly conduct seismic research and drilling to search a zone of 3,878 square kilometers, it added – Albawaba.com
