Morocco defeats South Africa in Davis Cup

The Moroccan national team won a smashing victory over South Africa (2-0) in the third round of Davis Cup. Le Matin reports that Moroccan players Mehdi Tahiri and Mounir El Aarej both won the games played on Friday September 23. El Aarej defeated Justin Bower 6-4, 6-4, 3-6, 4-6, 8-6 in the first game while Moroccan Mehdi Tahiri beat Rik de Voest 2-6, 6-2, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2. For the next game of the 3rd round, Moroccan Talal Ouahabi and Mehdi Ziadi will face their South African counterparts Jeff Coetzee and Chris Haggard.
