A Moroccan businessman, who asked not to be identified, donated earlier this week $500,000 to the Palestinian people.

Palestinian ambassador to Rabat, Abu Marwan, who was handed the check, said the initiative is in the framework of the Moroccans’ expressions of solidarity with their Palestinian brothers.

The march staged Sunday in the capital Rabat is clear evidence to such solidarity, which was visible on the Moroccan King’s face during his meeting with U.S. secretary of state Colin Powell, Abu Marwan said, according to Maghreb Arabe Presse MAP.

As he was receiving the US official, the King bore a sticker, which read “We Are All Palestinians” displaying a picture of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, MAP added. (Albawaba.com)
