ALBAWABA - A huge explosion occurred on Thursday morning at a warehouse in the Uzbekistan capital Tashkent, local media reported.
Multiple people were reported injured in the massive explosion that rocked the capital of Uzbekistan. The blast took place at a warehouse next to Tashkent’s airport, AFP said.
In a post on Telegram, the Ministry of Health said in a statement: "So far, there are no serious injuries among the wounded. At the present time, doctors are providing them with all necessary medical assistance."
Videos and footage of the blast in Uzbekistan showing huge flames rising from the warehouse circulated the internet.
According to Russian news agency TASS, the fire erupted in one of the warehouses in the city’s Sergeli district due to a bolt of lightning.
