ALBAWABA - The Louvre Museum, which is the world's largest museum, was closed on Sunday following the robbery incident during which eight 'priceless' jewelry were stolen.
The Louvre Museum in the French capital, Paris, revealed on Monday that it will stay shut down for today as well, following the jewelry heist.
Thieves used power tools to climb the building before breaking windows into the world's most visited museum in broad daylight, and looting jewelery.
The robbery took place between 09:30 and 09:40 local time, according to the French police, who rapidly responded to the heist and are now looking for the thieves.
