A passenger bus caught fire after colliding with a truck carrying paint in dense fog in eastern India on Tuesday, killing at least 42 people and injuring 13 others, police said.
Forty people were burned to death on the spot and two died later in a hospital, said Narayan Ghosh, the deputy inspector-general of police.
Press Trust of India news agency said the accident took place early Tuesday when the highway was enveloped in dense fog. The accident blocked traffic on the highway for several hours. (Albawaba.com)
