Jordanian Prime Minister Ali Abu al-Ragheb begins on Monday a visit to Damascus for talks with senior officials on ways of dealing with the continuous Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
A senior Jordanian source told KUNA that the Prime Minister would convey a letter from Jordan’s King Abdullah II to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad dealing with ways of fostering bilateral relations as well as the recent developments on the Arab and International arenas.
Abul Ragheb will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Marwan Muasher.
This visit follows a telephone conversation Saturday between King Abdullah and Syrian president on the latest developments in the region which has witnessed an escalation of Palestinian-Israeli violence. (Albawaba.com)
