ALBAWABA - The strike occurred in the Ez-Zeytun neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, close to the border. As of the latest update, the number of injuries resulting from this attack has risen to 22.
This aerial assault followed an incident where Israeli forces fired upon Palestinians who were participating in a demonstration in the border region of Gaza. During that earlier event, 28 individuals sustained injuries.
According to a statement from the Israeli military spokesperson, the airstrike was specifically aimed at three Hamas military sites situated in the Gaza Strip. Notably, these targeted locations were located near the border area.

In recent days, Palestinians in Gaza have been staging demonstrations near the Israeli border for six consecutive days in protest of the incursion of fanatical Jews into the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In response, the Israeli military has deployed heavily armed units and snipers along the border to intervene in these protests.
