In an apparent Israeli assassination attempt, a Palestinian pick-up truck exploded Monday in the West Bank city of Ramallah, killing six people, Palestinian sources reported.
According to initial reports, the explosion took place close to al-Amari refugee camp, which witnesses said may have been caused by an israeli tank shell.
The apparent target of the attack, close to al-Amari refugee camp, was a senior Hamas activist, Hussein Abu Queq, who was not in the area at the time, the sources said. Among the dead were his wife and two children, aged 9 and 15.(Albawaba.com)
