Gourmet Gulf Company launches Ramadan Charity Campaign in favor of Dar Al Ber Society for the 2nd year in a row

Gourmet Gulf, the leading food and beverage company based in Dubai launched a Ramadan charity campaign in favor of Dar Al Ber Society in which a percentage of the company's sales will be donated in addition to other activities.

Gourmet Gulf Company holds the exclusive franchise in the region for a number of international restaurant chains: YO! Sushi, Gourmet Burger Kitchen GBK, California Pizza Kitchen CPK and Morellis Gelato Dal 1907.

"This campaign is part of our corporate social responsibility strategy to support charities and play a role in contributing to society's welfare and the holy month of Ramadan is the right occasion to do so. The campaign witnessed a major success last year and therefore we decided to expand our contribution for this year by adding more activities" said Sami Daud, CEO of Gourmet Gulf.

"A percentage of Gourmet Gulf's Ramadan sales revenues will be delivered to Dar Al Ber Association at the end of the month", explained Antonio Bautista, COO of Gourmet Gulf.

"A percentage of Gourmet Gulf's sales will be donated to Dar Al Ber Society at the end of the holy month. In addition, we sponsored the annual Charity Ballroom of Dar el Bir", explained Sami Daud, CEO of Gourmet Gulf.

Dar Al Ber Association charity piggybanks will also be placed on the tables of the UAE-based restaurants to enable customers to donate. During the annual Charity Ballroom, Gourmet Gulf offered meals to the children fostered by the charity and its sister company Retail Arabia offered toys from its flagship toy store Hamleys. A number of children adopted by the association also enjoyed a special Iftar gatherings at Gourmet Gulf's restaurants in the UAE.
