The German and Swiss Business Councils of Dubai are delighted to join together this Ramadan to host a unique Iftar evening on Monday 16th October in the Ballroom of The Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
Special guest and key speaker of the evening will be Mr Michael Martin, the Munich-born adventurer, geographer and photographer who has documented a 20-year career spent exploring the deserts of the earth - on motorcycle – in a series of much-acclaimed books and photo journals. Mr Martin is also a celebrated presenter and speaker with 1000 appearances including the prestigious National Geographic Society and United Nations to his credit.
“The objective of the event is to encourage members of both our business communities to meet and invite their clients and friends to mark Iftar in a relaxed, yet cultured atmosphere,” commented Bodo Fries, Chairman of the German Business Council and Peter Harradine, President of the Swiss Business Council in a joint statement. “We are also delighted to welcome Mr Martin to this special evening and all who attend can look forward to a spellbinding presentation of his travels.”
The Iftar Event starts at 6.30pm on Monday 16th October in Ballrooms 1 & 2 of The Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Tickets cost Dhs180 per head which includes Iftar buffet, soft drinks and entry to the presentation.
