ALBAWABA - Star TV’s summer series Doğanın Kanunu is coming to an end, with the Ay Yapım production set to conclude its television journey with its 13th episode.
The finale decision makes Doğanın Kanunu the first reported summer series of the current season to receive an early ending. The news has attracted attention among Turkish television viewers, particularly because the series launched only recently as one of Star TV’s new summer productions.
The series premiered on June 10, bringing together Alperen Duymaz and Özge Yağız in the leading roles. Duymaz plays Yaman, while Yağız portrays Doğa, two characters from very different worlds whose lives unexpectedly become connected again years after an unfortunate first encounter.

The story begins with a difficult meeting between Yaman and Doğa during a job interview. Their paths later cross again by coincidence, setting the stage for a relationship filled with conflict, misunderstandings and an increasingly strong attraction.
The series moves between Istanbul and the colorful atmosphere of Urla, where the story develops around family relationships, romance and the contrasting personalities of its two central characters. Star TV described the production as a story about two strong people whose lives are reshaped after they unexpectedly meet again.
Doğanın Kanunu was written by Barış Erdoğan and İlker Arslan, with Ali Bilgin and Beste Sultan Kasapoğulları serving as directors. Ay Yapım is behind the production.
The series features an extensive ensemble cast alongside its two leads. Hakan Yılmaz plays Hulusi, while Nur Yazar portrays Perihan and Seda Türkmen appears as Nesrin. The cast also includes Hülya Duyar, Onur Berk Aslanoğlu, Bartu Zeytinci, Kübra Balcan, Olcay Yusufoğlu, Aziz Caner, Lara Aslan, Yiğitcan Ergin, Yüksel Ünal, Çağla Demir and Müttalip Müjdeci.
The series initially generated strong interest before its premiere, with Star TV promoting its romantic storyline and the chemistry between Duymaz and Yağız. Its first episode introduced the history between Yaman and Doğa and ended with a development that was designed to leave viewers curious about the pair's past.
The production also received positive attention in its early weeks. Star TV reported that the series ranked first among the evening’s most-watched productions with its second, third and fourth episodes, highlighting its early performance in the ratings.
Despite that early momentum, Turkish media have now reported that the series will conclude with its 13th episode. The decision means viewers will not see the summer drama continue into a longer run, with the story instead being brought to a close after 13 episodes.
The finale will bring an end to the story of Yaman and Doğa after a short but eventful run on Star TV. For Alperen Duymaz and Özge Yağız, the project also marked a new leading partnership, while the production gave audiences a romantic summer drama set against the backdrop of Urla.
With the 13th episode now designated as the finale, attention will turn to how the writers choose to conclude the relationship and unresolved storylines surrounding the show's characters.
