Lebanese veteran Samira Tewfik underwent a cardiac catheterization at Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, after suffering from heart problems.
As confirmed by niece and manager, Lina Radwan, the operation was successful.
This procedure is the second for Samira, as she underwent the first one in July 2018, at the Roman Hospital for Saint George’s in Beirut, by Doctor Paul Charbel.
Samira, who turned 85 earlier this year, celebrated her birthday with family and friends. Her niece and manager Lina shared a picture from the celebrations and wished her longer life and good health.
Tewfik is considered one of the most famous artists who sings the Bedouin dialect. She also stole the spotlight with her beauty during her artistic career, because of her features that are close to Bedouin beauty.
The most prominent songs of hers are "Ya Muqdadaq, Asmar Ya Shab Al-Mihoub, Bask Tigi Haretna."
