ALBAWABA - At least eight people, including the driver, were injured after a car rammed into pedestrians at a crosswalk in Omsk, Russia, the Prosecutor's Office of Russia's Omsk Oblast on Telegram, APA reported Thursday.
Emergency teams and the police rushed to the location of the incident to treat those who were injured in the accident.
According to Russian media, the driver reportedly suffered a medical emergency before crashing into a traffic light and then hitting people crossing the street.
Photos showing emergency services at the scene treating injured people have been shared online.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
