Fares Karam is famous for coming out with unusual songs that represent his character: “simple yet enjoyable!” He did however admit to being quite a tempered person by nature.
Fares said that he keeps his press interviews to a minimum because he can’t but give his honest and frank views on things, which he knows may upset or insult some people. Thankfully, we never see that side of him in his music though!
Earlier in his career, the singer released a hilarious song titled “El Tannoora” (The Skirt). While some thought it may not score high on the music charts, Fares was confident it’d be a smash hit. And a smash hit it was!
Now, Fares is releasing a new song which he believes is right on the money. The single is titled “Barbie” and was written by Areej Due, composed by Saleem Salama and distributed by Rojea Khoury.
But what about the women appearing in his music videos; are those the types Fares is looking for in reality? According to the singer, that’s a big NO! He said that the girl of his dreams wouldn’t sport a mini skirt or be the centre of attention by men!
In other news, Laha Magazine reported that Fares is currently on tour in the United States and will be performing in a number of states.
