Egyptian actress Basma’s stomach looks a bit “bumpy” in her latest TV show “Al Daiyah” (The Preacher), where she plays a violinist who falls in love with a preacher. One would think that she’s either been overeating this Ramadan or that she really is preggers.
Well, most fans suspect that she hasn’t put on a few pounds from all the delicious Iftars she’s been having, but rather that she’s actually expecting a baby.
Basma got pregnant a few months before filming her popular Ramadan TV show, but the Director didn’t make a good job of hiding it, as viewers were disappointed at how obvious her baby bump is. Work those camera angles, Director, work them!
According to Sayidaty.net, criticism against Basma began on social networking sites, when fans complained that she failed miserably at hiding her pregnancy, and made it so obvious by the way she walks and acts in her scenes in general.
Basma has chosen to continue on with her acting career while pregnant. Was it a bad decision that ruined her character?
