A Turkish architect has designed a gravity-defying hotel which hangs off a 1,982-foot cliff edge in Norway with a glass-bottomed swimming pool.
The hotel, which is definitely not for the faint hearted, is to be embedded into Preikestolen, a cliff in southern Norway that has become a popular tourist attraction.
Designed by the Hayri Atak Studio, the proposed Cliff Concept Boutique Hotel features a swimming pool with a see-through bottom that juts out from the side of the cliff face.
The proposed hotel, which has not yet received planning permission, would have views of the Lysefjorden fjord.
There is a large platform which protrudes from the top off the cliff above three floors of guest rooms - all with protruding balconies.

Beneath these floors is the swimming pool, which would let swimmers see the astonishing drop beneath them.
And that isn't the first quirky swimming pool design from this year, in June designs were revealed for an infinity pool atop a London skyscraper.
The first of its kind, the swimming pool would be placed on top of a 55-storey luxury hotel.
Compass Pools, who designed it, described the structure as: 'The only building in the world to incorporate a 360-degree infinity pool.'
