Feeling confused by the constant to-and-froing in the Syrian crisis?

Fear not! UK comedian Dom Joly has explained the conflict in Syria in THREE MINUTES on the BBC.

Joly, who spent much of his childhood in Lebanon and travels frequently in the Middle East, and the BBC's Owen Bennett Jones, a Middle East expert, have recorded their own attempt.

They gave themselves three minutes to untangle the situation, and the results are posted on the BBC.

Although perhaps they could have done with longer, we think they did a pretty good job of explaining what's going on in the crisis and the complicated alliance system in the region.

What do you think of the video? Has this made the crisis any clearer for you?
