An Asian man was arrested by Sharjah Police on Sunday for producing and distributing pornographic movie CDs and selling them to Asian workers in the emirate.
A police spokesman said the suspect from Bangladesh used a computer equipment in his accommodation to make the CDs.
Police acted on a tipoff and raided a place where where he was selling the material. Police found a huge number of porn titles hidden in plastic bags. The suspect has been detained and will be referred to the Sharjah Public Prosecution.
