As snow continued to blanket the Jordan Saturday, residents found themselves accompanied with an unlikely companion to help dig their cars out of layers of snow around the country's capital: King Abdullah II himself.
As the Kingdom snowballed into chaos after three days of blizzards left the country covered in meters of white, refugees and nationals alike have been rallying together to help each other brave one of the country's worst storms in years. And like the people of his country, the King emerged from his palace and once again demonstrated the country's commitment to rescuing folks from sticky-or shall we say snowy in this case-situations.
Videos posted on Facebook showed the King on Amman's Wasfi Al Tal (Gardens Street) road helping a group of Jordanians move their stranded cars from the road.
The country's Prime Minister has already declared Sunday as a national holiday as Abdullah-and the rest of the Kingdom-attempt to collectively clear the roads throughout the country.
