Senior BenQ managers have briefed their UAE network of reseller partners about BenQ’s latest digital lifestyle products - as part of a new training program designed to enhance communication with their corporate channel, and increase the company’s reach in the public and government space.
The seminar, held at the Sofitel City Centre hotel in Dubai, updated BenQ’s partners on their Middle East strategy, new product launches and technical information on Joybooks, LCD monitors, projectors, plasma and LCD TVs.
BenQ has set ambitious targets to achieve sales in the corporate, government and public sectors across the Middle East.
“Corporate technology is advancing faster and faster,” said Robert Dung, managing director, BenQ Middle East, “and our product range is growing at an exceptional pace. We have had significant success in supply schools and universities across the Middle East with BenQ products, and it is important for our resellers to be kept abreast of the latest developments in this area.”
The resellers, selected for their market knowledge, received thorough briefings on technological and industry developments, and training on the new additions to BenQ’s range of digital lifestyle products.
In recent months BenQ has updated its Joybook range of notebook computers, including the Joybook 6000, BenQ’s first notebook computer for the corporate sector. New projectors, to aid learning and illustrate business presentations as well as LCD monitors have, all been warmly received in the public and government sectors.
“BenQ has identified a need for innovative, practical and stylish technology for the corporate space in the Middle East,” says Dung. “To properly serve this important market, resellers need to be genuine experts on BenQ products, which is why we have instigated this information program.”
In recent months BenQ has beefed up its regional operation with the opening of a regional administration centre, and the expansion of its state-of-the-art Jebel Ali distribution centre. (menareport.com)
